This week, Blizzard displayed some brand new gameplay footage for Diablo 4, during which a player who was paying close attention noticed a "skip campaign" button on the character select screen. After receiving a significant amount of attention on Twitter, lead quest designer Don Adams weighed in to provide further explanation regarding the functionality of the new feature. Once you have played through the campaign with one of your characters and finished it, you will be able to bypass it with any of your other characters at any time. You can create as many alternate characters as you want and take each one through as much or as little of the campaign as you like; however, as long as you have at least one character who has completed the quest, you will always have the option to skip ahead to the conclusion of the story. Adams wrote that he believes Diablo 4 Gold for sale is something that should be played more than once."However, we never intended to make Diablo 4 Gold for sale necessary to play through the game more than once for each character or even for each season."

If you've played Diablo 3, you probably won't find this to be all that shocking. The Reaper of Souls expansion added a new gameplay mode called Adventure Mode, which is a different way to level up your alts and get into the end game grind more quickly without having to repeatedly play through the campaign. The seasonal nature of Diablo incentivizes players to create new characters on a regular basis, and Adventure Mode allows for significantly more freedom and variety in the leveling process than would be the case if players simply continued to run the campaign.

Due to the fact that Diablo 4 is set in an open world and features level scaling, the Adventure Mode from Diablo 3 would not have worked very well in the new game

  1. Instead, players have the option to forego the campaign and jump straight into the conclusion of the game

  2. It's a smart design decision that will encourage players to try out lots of different classes, and it's also a nice gesture from the developers that communicates to players how much they respect our time

  3. Together, these two things are going to encourage players to try out lots of different classes

As a dedicated player of Destiny 2, I find the news regarding Diablo to be bittersweet. As a result of Bungie's policy of never allowing players to skip the campaign on their alt once they've finished Diablo 4 Gold for sale on their main, I've been forced to stick with just one character for the vast majority of my playing career. This policy has only recently been relaxed. And when Bungie finally made the option to skip the campaign available with the release of Lightfall this year, they decided to charge $20 for the privilege.

Back then, I was irritated by the pay-to-skip system, and I'm even more irritated now that Blizzard is giving away a feature that's very similar to the one they were charging for before. It is possible to argue that Diablo 4's campaign requires a campaign skip more than Destiny's does due to the fact that Diablo 4's campaign will be significantly longer than the typical 8-10 hour duration of Destiny 2's campaign; however, shouldn't Diablo 4 Gold for sale be considered more valuable to save more time? Why does Bungie charge us twenty dollars to save eight hours when Blizzard gives us the ability to save twenty to thirty hours without charge? Other than the fact that Diablo 4 Gold for sale is a desirable feature that people are willing to pay for, I do not know what the justification is for monetizing the Lightfall campaign skip.

It never occurred to me that Activision Blizzard would one day be in a position to outdo Bungie in terms of making decisions that are beneficial to players, but here we are. We can only keep our fingers crossed that the campaign skip in Diablo 4 will be so well received by the fanbase and bring Blizzard so much goodwill that Bungie will decide to implement Diablo 4 Gold for sale in The Final Shape when  is released the following year. This would be a good way for Bungie to get some positive buzz at the moment, which Lord knows they could really use right about now.
